Critical Path Calculator

This free critical path calculator finds the longest chain of dependent tasks in your project. List your tasks with durations and what each depends on, and it shows the earliest and latest dates, the float for every task, the critical path and the total project duration. It also warns you if your tasks form a loop.

Critical Path Calculator

Add your tasks, their durations and which tasks must finish first (predecessors, separated by commas). Then press Calculate to find the earliest and latest dates, the float and the critical path.

ES and EF are the earliest start and finish. LS and LF are the latest start and finish that do not delay the project. Float = LS – ES. Use any time unit (days, weeks) but keep it the same for every task. For learning and planning support. Nothing you type is stored or sent anywhere.
